Hari Bhari Chicken


Ingredients
  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Onion 1
  • Green chilies 6
  • Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
  • Mint leaves ¼ bunch
  • Ginger 1 piece
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Crushed Coriander 1 tbsp
  • Crushed cumin seed 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Capsicum chopped 1
  • Boiled peas ½ cup
Method
  • Heat ¼ cup oil in a pan, add 1 piece of chopped ginger, 6 cloves of chopped garlic and ½ kg chicken. Fry till golden brown.Now lower the flame, add 250 gm yogurt, 1 tbsp crushed coriander seeds, 1 tsp all spice powder, salt to taste and ½ cup of water. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Now remove lid and turn the flame high. Fry well, add chopped coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves, ½ cup boiled peas and 1 chopped capsicum.Fry well till oil comes on top. Dish it out and serve hot.
