Super Bowls of Cabbage Rolls

I wanted to wish you all a fun, festive, and very delicious Super Bowl Sunday! I’ll be watching the game with the in-laws, and if you’re wondering what we’re going to be eating, you may be surprised. There will be no Buffalo wings, no nacho cheese, and no baby back ribs.

I’m so tired of football food, having produced all these recent Super Bowl-inspired videos, that I made a batch of cabbage rolls using this very popular, previously posted recipe. Hey, they are football shaped after all.

I didn’t re-shoot the recipe, but I did snap a couple cell shots that I posted to Instagram (dont worry, theyre better the next day...the cabbage rolls, not the photos). Enjoy the game, and GO GIANTS!

Super Bowl Griling and BBQ Crash Course

Thanks to my just concluded trip to Vegas, Im still a day or two away from a new recipe video. Ive been catching up on my cookbook recipe production and photography, as well as finishing off a very delicious looking "best of Vegas" recap.

In the meantime, heres a series on grilling basics by Chris Lilly. I met Chris while attend Kingsford University last year, and in addition to being a heck of a nice guy, hes a very good teacher. I dont really do cookbook reviews, but Im a big fan of Chriss Big Bob Gibsons BBQ Book, and have added a link here in case you want to check it out.

Here
are some simple, beginner-level instructions for cooking seafood, chicken, pork and beef. Since Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest non-summer grilling day of the year, I figured some of you may pick up a tip or two by checking these out. Enjoy!
